I am aspiring to one day purchase or open an inn in Southwest Michigan. I would also consider a position as an innsitter or innkeeper.

We have the old manse to the Ferry Memorial Church finished in 1874 by the Wm Montague Ferry femily. We are reclaiming it from being a three-unit rental. It is now being used in our heritage immersion business, Bygone Basics. We plan to open as a B&B in 2012 (if all goes well) as a heritage immersion experience.... I believe the term I see is "farm stay," and that is a perfect description.
