Belding is located in the Southwest region of Michigan. The area is full of life, with many parks and recreational areas to enjoy. Located along the Flat River, there is fishing and swimming to be enjoyed by all. There are also many historic sites and buildings including Pere Marquette Depot, Belding Museum, and the Alvah N. Belding Memorial Library which capture the rich heritage of the area.

Any time of year is the perfect time to visit Belding. There are festivals and celebrations throughout all four seasons. The summer is the host to Music in the Park, while spring brings an Easter egg hunt, Arbor Day Celebration, and Community Celebration. During the fall, the Festival on the Flat Celebration and Annual Haunted “Bel” take place. The holiday season brings with it the Annual Quilt Show and Raffle, Residential Christmas Light Decorating Contest, and the Belding Museum Christmas Tree Display.
