| Welcome to Sebewaing, Michigan. Located on the Saginaw Bay here in Huron County, the name Sebewaing is Algonquian for “little river”, and used to be called “Sibbewaing” June is a great time for a vacation here in Sebewaing. That’s when you can participate in our Annual Sugar Festival, which is just brimming with activities for the whole family. Beginning with the Golf Outing, then continuing on with entertainment, sidewalk sales, a petting zoo, children’s games, bingo, art galleries, wild baby animal exhibits, the strawberry social…and so much more! If you haven’t filled up on concession food, you’ll want to stop in to The Lamplighter or the Hitching Post Inn for a tasty dinner, then visit the Main Street Café and Bakery for some goodies to take back with you, as a midnight snack at one of our lovely Bed and Breakfast Inns. Put your feet up and relax in these peaceful accommodations after your long, busy day. Tomorrow we visit the Luckhard Museum, the Leipprandt Orchars, and the Antiques by the Bridge. If you’re ready for a little more adventure, how about checking out the Owendale Speedway or the Depner Farms Giant Corn Maze & Pumpkins, if you’re here for an autumn weekend getaway. Sherwood on the Hill and the Scenic Golf Course & Country Club offer beautifully maintained greens for your best game ever. We’ll meet you there! |
