Plan that long overdue getaway you have been promising yourself.  Whether for 1 night or more, a stay at  Crimson Cottage Inn the Woods can provide a relaxing atmosphere where you can unwind and choose whether to have lots of activity or do nothing at all.

Crimson Cottage Inn is nestled in a quiet wooded area with views from all bedrooms and common areas.  You will feel the serenity of seclusion but are minutes from restaurants and activities.

Our custom built B & B offers rooms with private baths, king size beds, sitting areas, TVs, WiFi, cable, fireplaces, robes, refrigerators, filtered water, coffee pots and more.  We offer a casual, cozy, comfortable experience with a cottage feel.  With newer construction we have been able to provide lots of light, views, larger bathrooms, plenty of hot water and room to "spread out"!

Our breakfast always includes hot entrees, fruit, pastries, yogurt and granola, juice coffee and tea.  We will work with special dietary needs, e.g. vegetarian, etc.  Just let us know.

Two bedrooms offer you the option of the same full breakfast brought to your room.

We can schedule in house massages, provide picnic lunches and other romantic services like flowers, chocolates, and appetizer trays.  Beginning in February, 2011 we will have a dedicated massage room where you can schedule couples side by side massages.

We have miles of biking and walking paths right off our driveway.  Bring your own bikes (you can store them safely in our garage), or use our 2 bikes (first come first serve).

We have free WiFi for your computer.

Our common areas have a fireplace, sun room and 2 spaces for dining. You are welcome to bring in your lunch or dinner and use our common areas to dine.  We'll provide dishes and silverware 24/7.  In warmer weather you can enjoy sitting in our backyard surrounded by beach grass, birds, and a view of a neighboring pond.  You might even catch a glimpse of other wildlife.  

You can design your stay to either interact with others or spend your time privately. There are opportunities for both. There are no expectations other than to enjoy yourself!  

We also offer group discounts for renting all 3 rooms for 2 nights or more.

Downtown Holland has distinctive shopping opportunities, wonderful dining, including 2 waterfront restaurants, great grilles and pubs.  There are downtown activities year round, including the Tulip Festival, street performers, gallery walks, music performances, ice sculpting, sidewalk sales, and much more.  And we are only 10 minutes away from downtown by car.

Lake Michigan offers many water activities and there are "rental" options available, including sailboat and motor cruises.  Remember we are only 1 and 1/2 miles from Lake Michigan access.  Many of our guests walk or ride bikes to enjoy a sunset, picnic, or walk on the beach.

We are perfectly located near many other beach towns and fun spots.  Stay with us and make short trips to wineries, orchards, antiquing, resort towns and then return to the quiet of your room in our B & B.  We are close to Saugatuck, Douglas, Allegan, Fennville, South Haven, Grand Haven, Grandville, Grand Rapids, Muskegon and Whitehall.  We can be your home base!
