Days Gone By Bed and Breakfast
Michigan's "little finger," the Leelanau Peninsula, has much to offer, and at its tip is the quaint village of Northport and "Days Gone By."
Here you'll find relaxation and serenity that make for a magical stay. Outside, beautiful gardens and a 9'x9' stone fireplace whose ceiling is a constellation of stars in the night sky. Inside, cozy rooms, alluring breakfast aromas, and conversation with newfound friends about your days' adventure.
Northport defines charm. Small in size but huge with amenities - picturesque marina on Grand Traverse Bay, beach & playground, unique shops and restaurants, amazing views from Braman Hill, Friday night summer concerts in the park, Northport Community Arts Center with world-renowned performances, hiking, biking - your hearts' desire; all in walking distance.
And a short drive away are Leelanau State Park & The Grand Traverse Lighthouse, Leelanau Sands Casino, Peterson Park known for mesmerizing sunsets on Lake Michigan, Sleeping Bear Dunes National Park, Traverse City, rolling hills dotted with cherry orchards and wine viineyars with tasting rooms to ignite your palate.
We offer three guest rooms each with private bath, air conditioning, cable TV, and free WI-FI.
----- The Garden Room, our largest, both light & cheerful as it overlooks bouquet-like gardens.
----- The Copper Beech Room with a tree bearing its' name and clothed in brilliant shades of copper & mauve just outside the window.
----- and Winnie's Room, decorated in lace & pastel blues, a tribute to the original owners' daughter.
Common areas consist of an inviting Dining Room, comfy Parlor, reading Library, and outside grounds where benches and Adirondack chairs invite you to sit and await a chance observation of white tail deer, flock of gobbling turkeys, or majestic bald eagle.
We welcome and offer YOU our home with the warmth & hospitality of DAYS GONE BY.
