Welcome to La Belle de la Riviere, "The Beauty of the River". This beautiful home, built in 1871, is situated in the Heart of West Michigan. The inn has 7 guest rooms, 3 with private baths. Nestled in the downtown Newaygo shopping district we are conveniently located near antique and other curio shops. An ideal setting for a simple getaway from the worries of everyday life or outdoor adventure on the Big Muskegon River or in the Manistee National Forest.

After a restful nights sleep and a delicious complimentary breakfast you'll be ready to explore the blessings of this four season river valley. For a relaxing vacation enjoy the lost art of conversation with new-found friends or family members. Read a good book from our library or take a leisurely stroll along the beautiful Muskegon River and historic downtown Newaygo. The Muskegon River continues to be the main attraction for summer vacation and seasonal water-sports. The river teems with Steelhead in the spring and Salmon in the fall. Fly casters head for the nearby streams. In the winter, ice fish on one of the nearby lakes, or on Croton or Hardy Ponds.
