Nestled in the quaint beach town in Michigan's Thumb on Lake Huron, The State Street Inn is the perfect setting for vacation getaways or business travel.

Experience refreshing surroundings and simple joys where hospitality is our specialty and personal attention is given to your every need.

Our century old country Victorian farmhouse has four cozy guest rooms, each individually and uniquely decorated and equipped with private bath, central air, and satellite TV, fluffy robes, and handy amenities such as snack baskets, bottled water, wine glasses and corkscrews.

Family heirlooms and cherished collectibles are tucked into nooks and crannies, beckoning a second look. Enjoy a delicious hot breakfast each morning in the dining room and be sure to find the bottomless cookie jar and the guest hospitality center on the second floor with coffee maker, microwave and refrigerator.  We have stocked it with coffee, tea, hot chocolate and microwave popcorn.  

Enjoy the beach, shopping, fishing, bicycling, antiquing, or historical points of interest. We are a short walk to shops, restaurants, parks, museums, our lovely sandy beach and the marina.  Or, you can spend a lazy day sitting on the porch with a good book, wandering in the gardens or taking a walk on Trescott Pier which reaches out 1,200 feet into Lake Huron.  Play a round of golf in one of beautiful the nearby courses or enjoy a meal at one of the local eateries.  

We offer a smoke free environment.  Our room rates are $80-$100 and we offer special rates for the business traveler.

This package includes red roses in a lovely vase, handmade truffles & candlelight breakfast each day. Most guestrooms have a fireplace. 4th room is close to the library fireplace. Girl's Weekend

Friday evening, check into your guest room and prepare to enjoy a casual dinner of pizza, salad & brownies at the Inn with time to relax. Saturday, enjoy a delicious breakfast, then prepare for an afternoon of pampering at Heavenly Escape. You'll enjoy 3-4 hours of spa services with a Day of Luxury. That evening, enjoy fine dining with a $30 voucher at one of the area's premier historic restaurants, The Bank 1884. After Sunday breakfast, depart for home well rested and rejuvenated with a lovely remembrance gift.

Scrapbooking Retreat

October through April, you can bring your group of eight people for a whole weekend of marathon scrap booking. Rent the whole Inn for a flat rate of $675.00 plus tax (private areas excluded) from Friday afternoon to Sunday afternoon and the price includes breakfast each morning. Or, you can choose an all inclusive weekend with use of the common rooms, two nights' lodging, two breakfasts, one lunch and two dinners for $139.00 per person, double occupancy, plus tax (holidays excluded).

A Little Romance
