Dove Nest B&B is a pure example of work of love. Built by his owner in 1983 as a country home and improved over the years. Different hardwood in each bedroom. It was lovingly landscaped with hundreds of trees, plants, flowers and pond to create a beautifull retreat. Seasonal vegetables and fruit for our breakfasts come from the local farms. The favorite rasberry/jalapeno jam comes from the local producer.

When you use a bar of soap at a hotel, do you take it home with you? Probably not. And yet most guests take home the disc of hand-made soap found in their bathroom at Adventure Inn Bed and Breakfast. We're on the Lake Huron shore halfway between Port Huron and Lexington. Our soap is locally made in small batches by Company Soap in Algonac. They create long-lasting bars using essential oils and natural ingredients. We get an assortment that usually includes Honey Oatmeal, Honey Almond, Cranberry Oatmeal and Vanilla. Offering locally hand-made soap is one more way we create a unique and special lodging experience.

The Sheridan House Bed & Breakfast is within minutes of Amish crafts. Here you will find the finest in cabinet makers, woven rugs, a tack shop, canvas maker and others. In downtown Fremont, you will be able to explore a wonderful quilting store as well as scrapbooking.

Our gift shop includes hand-made llama wool items. Items are hand-made by the "Woolly Women" a local fiber artists group, and woven rugs by Don Topliff. In addition the Artisan's Circle, Yeetown, and the glass blowing business in Williamston feature locally and Michigan-made artwork and products.
