Historic Ypsilanti is located just a few miles east of Ann Arbor, on the banks of the Huron River in Southeast Michigan. It is easy to fall hard for this town. There are fun festivals and events throughout the year, interesting museums, and numerous shops. Find a comfortable bed and breakfast Ypsilanti Michigan, and plan to stay in it several times a year.

"Ypsi", as the locals call it, is really two towns. "Downtown" is the main business district, where visitors will find many shops and restaurants in historical buildings. The Crossroads Music Festivals brings live music to this part of town on Friday nights during June, July and August. "Depot Town" is on the banks of the Huron River, where it was built to take advantage of the railroad and the river. Come by Depot Town for "quaint shops, antiques, good food and an occasional train", or when feeling thirsty for a Michigan micro brew.

On Tuesday afternoons April through October, the Ypsilanti Farmers Market sets up in Depot Town. After a long weekend away from home, harvest a bounty of Southeast Michigan fruits and vegetables to fill the refrigerator. Shoppers may be inspired to visit a farm and pick their own food; if so, ask Ypsilanti Michigan bed and breakfast innkeepers where to find the best u-pick farms in the area.

Many people travel to Ypsilanti Michigan bed and breakfasts for the Ypsilanti Heritage Festival in August. This is a free event that features historic tours, numerous Living History activities, and live entertainment. In addition, a large Arts and Crafts fair takes over a large stretch of Depot Town.

Whether coming to Ypsi for a particular event, for business, or simply to relax, stay in a bed and breakfast Ypsilanti Michigan.
